About Harmony Diversity Choir

Harmony Diversity Choir uses the language of music to educate, network and advocate for diversity, inclusion and equality throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Created under the umbrella of Perceptions non-profit organization, Harmony Diversity Choir brings together LGBT, straight allies and all supporters in unison - regardless of race, color, gender, national origin, age, religion, creed, disability, veterans’ status, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression – to transcend differences and create and foster a safe and supportive environment for all. Sing with Us

Our Spring Call-out brought a great mix of folks to start the choir! We have new folks joining us all the time…and we want you to join as well! Harmony Diversity Choir is searching for sopranos, altos, tenors and basses aged 18 and over to join us in song! No experience required!

Perceptions Diversity Choir


Harmony Diversity Choir has a goal of four performances per year. Harmony was thrilled to make our debut performance at the Great Lakes Bay Region Pride Festival on July 23, 2016 in Bay City, MI. We also sang at the Perceptions Holiday Gala on December 3, 2016, in Freeland, MI.

Meet the "HOT"! (Harmony Operations Team)

Member Donations:

$25 donation paid annually. This donation qualifies the choir member as a Perceptions Member-Donor with voting right entailed in its by-laws…and our Treasurer want us to remind you that it’s tax deductible!

Consideration will be given to those individuals who find a membership fee may prohibit his or her participation.

Distributed music must be returned or a fee of $5 per piece of music will be charged. Members will be expected to purchase performance attire, which will be kept to a minimal expense.
